The Burrow is owned by the Weasley family. It's at least four stories tall, built so crazily that it must certainly be held up by magic. It's located outside of the village of Ottery St. Catchpole, but so well hidden that the postman may not even know where it is. It has a ghoul in the attic and gnomes in the garden.
Azkaban
Azkaban is a terrible place. The prisoners there are guarded by dementors, horrible creatures who have been described as "sightless soul-sucking fiends." They feed on positive emotions, which means that after spending much time in the prison, the prisoners lose all hope and all good feelings and thoughts. They prisoners are forced to relive the darkest, most horrible memories of their lives. Some go mad, others simply despair and die.
Barty Crouch Sr. was head of this department. The dementors of Azkaban stay there unless allowed to leave by the Ministry, they revolted and joined Voldemort's forces. They allowed ten infamous Death Eaters to escape in the process. Azkaban is still operating, but without the dementors.

Diagon Alley
Diagon Alley is a cobbled street in London full of shops which sell magical items. It is hidden from all Muggles. The entrance to Diagon Alley is located in a courtyard behind a small pub called the Leaky Cauldron. #12 Grimmauld place is Sirius Black's childhood home and is now the Headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix.
Nobody can see it on the street; when they walk by, they just see #10 and #12 because there is a Fidelius Charm (a secret within a person that happens to be Dumbledore).
Sometimes weird voices can be heard, like in any old wizarding home. Several grumpy paintings wake up and in the case of Sirius' Mother yell. This house also has a house elf called Kreacher who stopped cleaning the house when Sirius's mother passed away.
